I am a 38 year old rat, confined to the prison that I have built for myself in my mind.

As long as I can remember I have always had an entrepreneurial mind and a travelling spirit but the rat race still kept me in it’s grasp. I studied and then worked as an engineer, always feeling like I need the salary to keep my head above water. Even when I knew that I could simply up and leave to travel and I would find a way to keep a roof over my head, something still kept me in my 9-5 job… Fear.

Now I am on a mission to escape the rat race, to be free and successful. Freedom and success mean different things to different people but I am sure the ideas and learnings will resonate with most.

Through the blog, I will be capturing my thoughts, ideas and experiments, to take you on this journey as well, think of me as the guinea pig trying different things so that you can learn from my mistakes.

The things that do work well or resonate with me, will be put into the main site pages so that they can be easily referenced and will hopefully guide you in your journey, broaden your thinking or to at least get your thinking caps on.

You will notice that I will be focussing on all aspects of life, so if you have any ideas that you feel would be worth exploring, please send them through and I will possibly add them to my priority list to test.

As with life, this site and the structures are a work in progress and will be evolving as my thinking changes. If you have another view on things covered here, please let me know because I welcome different thoughts as it leads to better growth.
